Welcome to my blog about studying in Czechia!

I'm Lydie, a second-year journalism and political science student at George Washington University. Originally from a small town in Minnesota, I decided to pursue my passion for journalism in the nation's media epicenter: Washington, D.C. After a year and a half at GW, I'm embarking on a semester abroad in Prague, where I will study international reporting while I intern with Transitions Magazine. Join me as I reflect on my time studying in Eastern Europe and learning about Czechia's culture, history and politics.
