EARTH DAY 2023

To celebrate Earth Day, we are launching a campaign to celebrate sustainable lifestyles such as donating your clothes to charities that partake in textile recycling, shopping sustainably with reusable bags, limiting carbon emissions from cars, and more.

Plan & Mission

CCC's mission:

We aim to promote sustainable everyday practices for this year's Earth Day,

one lifestyle change at a time.

Audience

The audience for CCC will be active consumers of social media like high schoolers, college students, and young adults. The graphics and challenges will pertain to the resources of social media.

Goals and Metrics

The goal for CCC will be to have at least 500 high schoolers/college students/young adults participate in our challenge and post to their social media upon completion.

Social Platforms

This campaign will utilize Instagram by posting graphics and videos, encouraging the use of hashtags #CCC, #3C, #Combat4Climate and #EarthDay23, and spreading our social media challenge.

User Engagement

The campaign will engage with our audience through social media for our "Thrift & Shift" challenge and encouraging the use of our hashtags to track metrics and those who have completed challenges.

Thrift & Shift Challenge

Step 1:

Go through your closet and find clothes you no longer wear.

Clothes with tears and broken zippers/buttons will likely go straight to a landfill if you donate them to a Goodwill or Savers, but we will find charities that recycle these clothes.
